What’s been happening:

I am on faculty at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health. I teach two courses, one for the Certificate Program for LGBT Health and Wellness and I am a founding member of the Center for Research on Health and Sexual Orientation. I provide facilitation for the PA Department of Health HIV Prevention Community Planning Group since 1997. I advise students and sit on thesis/essay committees for the MPH program in Infectious Diseases and Microbiology and the Behavioral & Community Health Sciences Departments. I chair the Community Advisory Board of the AIDS Clinical Trials Group and Microbicide Trials Network Community Work Group. I provide community needs assessment for the Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force SAMHSA grant developing substance use and HIV interventions in three high risk communities in Pittsburgh. I am on the Board of Directors of the Shepherd Wellness Community serving persons infected and affected with HIV/AIDS since 1988. In my spare time I sleep.
